Earlier today a speedrunner who goes by Claris set a new world record for Metroid Prime 3: Corruption under the Any% category. Claris did it with an in-game time of 1 hour 50 minutes. This crushes the previous world record held by DCR and their in-game time of 2 hours 07 minute.

Metroid Prime 3: Corruption was originally released on the Nintendo Wii on August 27, 2007.
