Majority of Nintendo LodgeNet 64 Titles Archived

Some more great news as the folks over at Forest of Illusion have been able to archive 31 of the 38 titles that were part of the “LodgeNet” system.

LodgeNet was a system used in hotel chains in the 90s and 2000s which allowed you to play video games by the hour in your hotel. Hence the name LodgeNet. This particular one was a Nintendo 64 and does not allow the player to store save data. It also only had 1 controller and did not contain a Rumble Pack.

The 31 versions that were successfully archived are:

  • 1080 Snowboarding
  • Donkey Kong 64
  • Dr. Mario
  • Excitebike
  • F-Zero X
  • Gauntlet Legends
  • Hydro Thunder
  • Kirby 64: Crystal Shards
  • Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask
  • Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • Mario Golf
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Mario Party 3
  • Mario Tennis
  • Midway’s Greatest Arcade Hits
  • Mortal Kombat 4
  • The New Tetris
  • Paper Mario
  • Pilotwings 64
  • Pokemon Snap
  • Rampage 2: Universal Tour
  • Ready 2 Rumble Boxing
  • Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA
  • Star Fox 64
  • Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
  • Super Mario 64
  • Super Smash Brothers
  • Virtual Chess
  • Virtual Pool 64
  • Wave Race 64
  • Yoshi’s Story

With that said, there are still 6 titles which were known to be accessible via LodgeNet at one point that were not discovered, or could properly load on the system provided. Those titles are:

  • Extreme-G
  • Forsaken 64

  • San Francisco Rush: Extreme Racing
  • Turok 2: Seeds of Evil
