Kung Fu NES World Record Broken

KungFuNES

Kung Fu, the NES game originally released back in 1984 has become a classic among NES players and has a popular speedrunning community based around it. While most would consider the world record times to be perfect, somebody beat the world record.

Today Swedish player EndySWE set the world record under the Game A any% category. Endy did it with a time of 3 minutes 36 seconds 549 milliseconds. This narrowly beats the previous record held by NME. NME’s time was 3 minutes 36 seconds 583 milliseconds. Talk about a narrow defeat.
