Genki Allegedly Shows Off Switch 2 At CES, Confronted By Nintendo’s Lawyers

According to French games journalist Julien Tellouck Japanese game developers Genki showed off what is allegedly the Switch 2 to some members of the public including himself at the recent Consumer Electronics Show.

Nintendo and their lawyers allegedly went up to Genki’s booth at the event and confronted them about the allegation. Genki is alleged to have responded by saying they did nothing wrong as they never signed and NDA with Nintendo. Others have made claims that Genki built their own mockup based on renderings and other SteamOS-powered handhelds.

Tellouck uploaded a Short on YouTube showing off what appears to be an updated version of the Switch 2 with an updated Joy-Con design containing clamps to hold them into place instead of needing to slide them in and out the top of the screen.
