EA Makes More Money From Extra Content Than From Full Digital Games

DLC and Extra content have been one of the most controversial topics in gaming today. While many complain about it by saying it is ruining the industry, it’s not going anywhere.

According to their latest financial results, EA earned $195 million from selling extra content in Q2 2015. During that same time, the company earned $89 million from selling full games digitally.

Sales of DLC and Extra Content saw a 27% year-over-year growth and just continues to grow at a very fast rate.
