Video Game prototypes can fetch some decent money from time to time depending on the games themselves. Well one prototype has popped up on eBay that is receiving lots of attention as it is an NES prototype of one of the most famous franchises in the world…Dragon Quest.
An NES Prototype of the original Dragon Warrior game has been put up for sale on eBay. This is a big deal considering that Dragon Warrior is the North American version of the Dragon Quest series until they decided to keep the original title in Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King.
The seller who goes by wafflefoot has provided us with lots of information regarding the backstory to calm down skeptics. Wafflefoot notes that the game has been dumped online and provided information about the process of it being dumped on Nintendo Age. He also noted that he purchased his copy from famous prototype collector James Wilson.
It’s rumored to be the only copy in the world and has an asking price of a whopping $49,999.99.
