Development of Bokosuka Girls: Tatsunoko Gakuen Climax Halted

V3 have announced they have temporarily halted development of their long-awaited PS Vita title Bokosuka Girls: Tatsunoko Gakuen Climax.

The company left the following message on their official website…

Thank you very much for your continued support.

At this time, we would like to inform you that development on Bokosuka Girls: Tatsunoko Gakuen Climax, which was in development at our company, has temporarily halted.

Although development on the title has continued since its announcement in 2013 (Editor’s Note: This is an error on V3’s part, it was announced in 2014), we have temporarily halted development due to the current state of consumer game development and our company’s direction going forward.

To everyone who looking forward to the release of this title, as well as to Tatsunoko Production, who were very cooperative, we are terribly sorry.

We will strive at to develop games that everyone can enjoy in the future.

Please give V3 your continuous support in the future.

Development of this PS Vita title has been rocky to say the least. The game was first announced way back in September 2014 and was originally scheduled for release in Japan some time in 2015. However, the project has seen numerous delays since then. With this message, we at least still know that the game is still in development.
