CyberConnect2 To Announce New Game In February

During the “Piro-Live! New Year’s Eve Special 2022” live stream, CyberConnect2 President and CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama revealed that the company will be announcing a new video game some time in February.

While he didn’t go into specifics, he did note that this title will get people around the world talking. Some have wondered if this could be related to the .hack franchise as the series will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in June. Many fans of the anime has been requesting that the original four titles based on .hack//sign be remastered similar to how all three G.U. titles were remade and continued with .hack//G.U. Last Recode.

CyberConnect2 are best known for creating titles based on popular anime IPs such as .hack franchise, Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.
