BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle Producer Reveals Why There Is No Arcade Version

With the popularity of fighting games in arcades, it would make since that popular titles would see releases in both the arcades and in homes. However, one upcoming game decided to skip the arcade entirely was BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle.

When asked by Dengeki Playstation, Producer Toshimichi Mori was asked why this decision was made. Mori said it was because they wanted to get rid of any situation where there would be an gap in ability between overseas and Japanese players.

BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle releases in Japan on May 31 for Switch, PC, and Playstation 4. North America will have to wait until June 5.
