Bayonetta Voice Actress May Have Not Be Truthful With Pay Claims

According to sources for both Tom Henderson at Video Games Chronicles and Jason Schreier at Bloomberg, original Bayonette voice actress Hellena Taylor may have not been entirely truthful in her viral video regarding her pay offer for Bayonetta 3.

In her original video, Taylor claimed she was only offered $4,000 dollars to reprise her role as lead character Bayonetta in Bayonetta 3. This does not seem to have been the case as both Henderson and Schreier have both viewed documents stating that Taylor would have been paid between $3,000-$4,000 for “at least” five sessions. Meaning that on the low end she would have been paid a minimum of $15,000.

While this would have still been a pay increase compared to Bayonetta 2, Taylor reportedly asked Platinum Games for a six-figure sum as well as residuals on the game.

When VGC reached out to Taylor, she claimed that these claims were “an absolute lie, and a complete joke”.
